Game Jam’s are great and all that, but I find that they can be quite incompatible with busy ‘grown-up’ life :) That said, I really like the motivation of a focused period of time and a common challenge with friends. I’m wondering if we can create an alternative ’event’ with less intensity, less pressure and more flexibility? I want to retain some gentle competition but this is not about grinding, perfection, or ‘winning’ anything. Sharing progress in the challenge might also help in raising each others game (quite literally).
The goal is simple: encourage steady progress, share it often, and help each other finish more things!
